purrsia is my all-purpose user name since I used it to join a Thundercats board years ago.
I joined DA to post my scribbles, but I got busy and 1,000 other things, and just stop by once and a while to see what cool things other people are posting.

Right. So we moved, and since the mortgage is humungo (for us anywho) I had to find myself a job to help out.

Started working part time in September 07, but recently got a raise and went full time. So, long story short, I'm online even less now. My job is online and by the time I'm done well I'm just burnt out.

So anyway, I still pop by here once in a while and lurk on people's DA accounts and journals. But if I don't always comment, or fave quickly, or respond to comments right away er...this would be why.

Hey, the money is sweet. I will say that.

Been busy with a move, home renovations and working part time, but there's always time for the internet, right?

Speaking of which, still plugging away at moving my Voltron site (shameless plug alert: will be located at voltroncentral.net when I'm finished) and decided to upload some new wallpapers here at DA for the occassion.
I also noticed I've a few Tcats wallpapers I never posted here, so those are going up as well. Sure, I'm technically retired but since I just slapped some images together in PSP and didn't actually do any of the drawing, it's fair game. I'm getting gradually better at this layering thing, I think, as well. I'm also trying to work with Photoshop more - it's similar to PSP in a lot of ways, but since I got used to PSP first old habits are hard to break and all.

Otherwise, still trying to keep up with all the fic WiPs I have going in both fandoms, and keep plot bunnies at bay. It was fun to win a couple fandom awards for a few of my Voltron fics as well as several for the site itself - er, which is another thing I need to get updated on the site.

Anyway, I keep up with LJ a lot more than I do here or at myspace, so if you're that interested in my daily mundania go for it. My screenie there is shockingly, purrsia.

Yeah, I know I've not been around too much here lately. I pop in, but haven't spared a lot of time for comments or the journal. In short, busy IRL (moving!) and online (moving my two main sites!).

But the Voltron Fandom Awards are still going on, and the current round of voting includes casting votes for the art nominees. I therefore thought it appropriate to post a note here at DA for obvious reasons.

Just join the yahoo group where the awards take place, if you haven't already, and then you can go to the polls and vote on your favorite pieces that were nominated earlier this year.

Just thought I'd put a note here about the Voltron Fandom Awards, since the art nominations are going on at the moment. There's a little less than a week to go on the nominating period, so definitely you DA types should pop by and nominate any of your favorite Voltron fan art - it's retroactive, so anything goes, even favorites from years' past!
